Susan Mack, J.D.

Senior executive and general counsel with an expansive background in the insurance and reinsurance industries. Bringing experience with key players such as Aetna and Transamerica Reinsurance, Mrs. Mack has held significant leadership roles in supporting growth and expansion while reducing risk and exposure.

Delivering significant contributions in influencing industry policy, she has been a founding member and/or senior leader in industry organizations including American Corporate Counsel Association’s Northeast Florida Chapter, the Association of Life Insurance Counsel and the Reinsurance Association of America’s Life Reinsurance Committee. Specifically, Mrs. Mack was a founding director of ARIAS U.S., a non-profit organization that certifies arbitrators, advocates arbitration process improvements in global insurance/reinsurance, and offers professional development. 

During her career, Susan was recruited as the first general counsel for three companies, building and leading high-performing, cross-functional, and efficient law departments to meet and accommodate continuously changing and complex business needs including organic/acquisition growth. She has also served as Claims head (both life/health and property/casualty), Reinsurance contracts head, Government Relations head and leader of an Accident and Health profit center. She offers 25+ years of experience in resolving multimillion-dollar insurance/reinsurance disputes by means of litigation, arbitration, and mediation.

Susan graduated with high honors from Dartmouth College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English/Economics.  She earned her law degree from Boston College.

Ron M. Butkiewicz, FSA, MAAA

Ron’s entire career has been spent in life insurance and retail financial services.  He brings expertise to all aspects of product manufacturing, marketing and operations.  His interest lies at the intersection of strategic and operational execution opportunities.

 Mr. Butkiewicz was CEO of ILona Financial Group, Inc. (formerly Irish Life of North America), which was the holding company for the U.S. operations of Irish Life & Permanent.  He joined Irish Life in 1987 to build a U.S. presence for them.  As a result of a small acquisition in 1988, the company started with $30 million of assets and $3 million of GAAP revenues.  By 1998, assets were in excess of $2.5 billion, GAAP revenues were $325 million and net income was $22 million.

 Mr. Butkiewicz began his career as a life insurance accountant and held a number of financial and general management positions.  He was Chief Financial Officer of UNICOA, which was the life insurance holding company for Teledyne, Inc.  Later, he became a Group Executive for Teledyne and had responsibility for a group of life insurance companies.  In 1979, he co-founded First Penn-Pacific Life Insurance Company, which became the second company to market universal life, but the first to be built around the universal life concept. He created MONEYGUARD, which is one of the best-selling Life/LTC bundled products in the market today. First Penn was sold to Lincoln National Corporation in 1981 and he remained as President and CEO through 1986.  He was also a director of a number of companies and served on the Long-Range Planning Committee of the Society of Actuaries.  He is a former Director of Irish Life plc and of the American Council of Life Insurance. 

Mr. Butkiewicz received his Bachelor from Aquinas College, with a major in Accountancy, and his MBA from the University of Chicago. 

H. Warren Clark

H. Warren Clark is a strategic business leader with more than 40 years of experience within the health care, insurance, and pharmaceuticals industries. With extensive knowledge of the industry and a strong marketing mind, Warren has the ability to identify and capture growth opportunities, and forge strategic partnerships with business, technology and science to move businesses forward in unique and impactful ways.

 As President of Strategic Vision Partners, LLC, Warren has been an executive consultant to the insurance and health industries. He has provided strategic marketing consulting to improve results and engage in growth markets; developed specific strategies for client selection and underwriting for life and health insurance industries; assisted in raising venture capital; created synergistic strategic partnerships; and managed the formation of technology systems and networks.

 Prior to his consulting work, Warren was senior executive within Merck-Medco Managed Care, leading an effort to broaden the global footprint of the business by establishing processes for networked decision support systems to physicians. At CVS/Caremark, he was instrumental in achieving large account sales in pharmacy benefits management, increasing net sales from $12 million to nearly $50 million during his tenure. As Vice President of MetLife and General Manager of the MetPlans Division, Warren managed all aspects of the small group and pure HMO Division of this major insurance company, and was responsible for reducing losses from $200 million to less than $3 million in fewer than three years. At Pacific Mutual Life, he was responsible for the company-wide sales organization, and a member of the Group Management Board which oversaw strategic direction of the health insurance division.

Warren holds a BA degree in Humanities from University of Colorado.

Donald G. Klepser, PhD, MBA

Dr. Klepser is Associate Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy.  He has studied the use of Point of Care testing in community pharmacies for the past eight years and is one of the developers of the National Association of Chain Drugstores' Point-of-Care Testing Certificate Program.    

He is currently the primary investigator on grants to develop community pharmacy practice models for managing diseases such as Hepatitis C, HIV, diabetes, hypertension, influenza, and group A Streptococcus.  Dr. Klepser is also the primary investigator on grants to better understand how state and local health departments perceive the role of the pharmacists conducting Point of Care tests.      

Dr. Klepser has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Socioeconomics from the University of Iowa, a MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, and a Bachelor degree in Communications from the University of Michigan.    

Dana Damyen

Dana is a proven finance executive who serves in CFO and interim CFO roles.  She has broad and deep experience in all aspects of financial, accounting and administrative management.  She is currently Vice President, Finance with Ammeraal Beltech North America, a $100MM division of a $300MM global private equity-owned manufacturing company.

 In 2009, Dana founded and served as Principal with TwoRoads Solutions, a consulting firm that assists equity-owned and private companies to execute operational transformation and transactional initiatives and also provides interim CFO services; the latter of which she provides to Force Diagnostics.

 Prior to establishing TwoRoads, Dana served as Divisional CFO and Corporate Director, FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) at Orval Kent Food Company, Inc.  Prior to her position at Orval Kent, Dana served as the first CFO for Active Screw & Fastener LLC.  At the Whirlpool Corporation, she was the first executive finance professional in the Global Procurement group, where she served as Director of Finance, Global Procurement and Global Strategic Outsourcing.  Dana also has over 11 years of Big Four experience with Ernst & Young in tax and corporate finance and with KPMG with a primary focus in corporate finance.

Dana holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
